Where has this month gone?! It feels like we just started summer and we’re already at the end of September and fall has started. This has been a busy summer, but it has been such a good summer. I wrapped mine up with two awesome concerts.

The first one was Thursday night. We started out by hitting up One-Eyed Betty’s for some delicious food and stellar drinks. You can’t go to a concert without fueling up. The Spinach Artichoke Dip and the Wild Mushroom Ravioli were too good so we left more than full. Once we got to the venue we were lucky enough to get VIP access and met Fame on Fire before the concert got going. The night was such a blast. SayWhen and Kingdom Collapse kicked it off and Fame on Fire slayed! It was such a good concert! Everyone was so nice and they all put on such a hell of a show. I definitely recommend seeing them if you get the chance and definitely check them out if you haven’t heard of them.

Saturday was Riff Fest and it was everything I could have asked for. We had a blast there also. It was my second time seeing Badflower, Bad Omens and I Prevail and they definitely did not disappoint! They killed it! I saw both Badflower and I Prevail at Sonic Temple earlier this year, but it has been since 2018 that I saw Bad Omens and it was so good to see them again. They all know how to give you they hypest performances and a night to remember.

“Like a Jester at the ball
Rubbed my shoulders with the kings
And I was draped in gold and velvet
Bathing in applause while I was jumping through the rings
And then the cooks would sound a bell
And all the kings would lick their lips
But I couldn’t find a place mat
The dinner table’s full and there’s no room for me to sit

Is there anybody out there looking out for me?
Just say you want me, just say you need me
Is there anybody out there looking out for me?
Does anybody need me?”
